Robot Joint Thermal, Durability and Data Traceability Plan

Freeze the DUT, duty cycle, cooling, thermal state, stop logic and synchronized evidence before testing. A cycle count or elapsed time is not standalone evidence of service life, and a report is not traceable unless its source run and processing version remain connected.

Thermal and durability passport

FieldRequired declarationProject entry / evidence
DUT and stateIncluded motor, reducer, drive, encoder, brake, housing, lubricant, mounting, firmware and controller state
Duty cycleTorque, speed, position, direction, duration, dwell, acceleration, load/inertia, repetition and recovery
Environment and coolingAmbient, enclosure/airflow, coolant boundary, inlet condition, control state and initial soak
ChannelsLocations, IDs, ranges, timebase, zero, calibration/verification, sampling and synchronization
Equilibrium and stopNamed stability window plus safety, thermal, electrical, mechanical, control and data-integrity actions
CheckpointsCold/hot and before/after methods, inspection, reference checks, comparison variables and disposition

Data lineage and exceptions

LayerControlled recordID / status / link
Raw sourceOriginal channels, units, timestamps, quality flags, events and immutable run reference
ProcessingFormulas, filters, resampling, exclusions, software version and generated dataset
ExceptionFirst trigger, dependent alarms, action, invalid/deviation reason, affected interval and approval
Retest and decisionOriginal retained, corrective change, linked retest, tolerance source, result and sign-off

Scope limit: No universal Weiheng temperature, life, NVH, sampling, storage, accuracy or acceptance value is asserted. Project values require approved evidence.
